The Role of a Development Facilitator

At BEC, a Development Facilitator plays a crucial role in empowering individuals and communities. It's about fostering participation, building capacity, and upskilling students and graduates as they navigate their careers.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma in social sciences, education, or related field
  • Experience in community development or social work
  • Facilitation or training certifications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of South African development context
  • Fluency in local languages (advantageous)
